Our Story
The Grady County Democratic Committee has responsibility for and jurisdiction over Party affairs in Grady County. We support the principles of the Democratic Party and help elect Democratic candidates.
We provide education about the voting process and keep voters informed about issues that are important to our community. We collaborate with other like-minded organizations to keep citizens informed. The Committee is apportioned and elected according to guidelines set forth in the State Charter and By-Laws of the Democratic Party of Georgia. The Committee is elected from five County Commission Districts. |
Grady County is allotted 15 Committee members. These are elected as follows: Each of the 5 County Commission Districts is allotted 2 seats (10 seats total). Committee members in those seats must live within the County Commission District they serve. In addition, there are 5 At Large seats which can be filled by members living in any District in the county (4 seats). All 15 Committee members must be registered to vote in Grady County.
